Rochester Lourdes stayed alive in the Section One, Class AA final four baseball playoff with a 7-1 win over La Crescent today at Hudson Field, Rochester.

The game had been postponed Saturday in the second inning due to rain. The score at the time was 4-0.

Lourdes pitcher Jake Duda, a senior right-hander, allowed just two hits, both in the seventh inning to break up a potential no-hitter.

Today, the Eagles added two more runs in the fifth inning on a throwing error and a wild pitch. And in the seventh inning, Lourdes got one more run on an RBI double by Poterucha, to score Gores.

For the game, Lourdes got 10 hits and made one error to raise its record to 17-8. La Crescent got two hits and made four errors; with the loss, the Lancers were eliminated from the playoff, ending the season 15-10.

Lourdes advances to play at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Hudson Field against the winner of tonight’s game between Triton and Cotter.
