Luella Buhlmann -- Granger

HARMONY -- The funeral for Luella Buhlmann will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Granger. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Granger.

Mrs. Buhlmann, 97, a longtime antiques store owner in Granger, died Sunday (Feb. 19, 2006) at Harmony Health Care in Harmony.

Luella Nieberline was born Jan. 20, 1909, at home in Howard County, Iowa, and attended local country school. She married Walter Buhlmann in 1929. She ran an antiques store in Granger for many years. She also enjoyed crocheting. She entered the Harmony Health Care Center in 1991 and continued to reside there until her death.

Survivors include two grandsons; and a great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, four sisters and a brother.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony, and an hour before the service Friday at the church.
