CLARIFICATION RAN MONDAY (4/8/02)
Clarifying an item on Page 1D of Friday's sports section: the April 18 Lynx basketball clinic has positions allocated by county. Therefore it is the first 25 Winona County girls in grades 5 through 12 who register through Winona County D.A.R.E. officer Bill Spitzer who will be allowed to attend the clinic. Olmsted County D.A.R.E. officers have 25 positions available, but those are for Olmsted County girls and registration for those spots is through the Olmsted County D.A.R.E. program.
-------------------------------------------------------- The Minnesota Lynx WNBA basketball team will be conducting a clinic, in conjunction with D.A.R.E, from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at Lourdes High School in Rochester.
The first 25 girls grades 5-12 who register will be allowed to attend.
