MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Lynx signed free agent center Carolyn Moos, a native of Wayzata, on Friday.
Moos spent part of the 2002 season with the Miami Sol, who have since folded. She was originally drafted by Phoenix in 2001 after finishing her career at Stanford.
A graduate of Blake High School, Moos was a finalist for the Naismith National Player of the Year in 1997.
The Lynx, who open the exhibition season Tuesday at home against Detroit, will play the Washington Mystics in an exhibition game Friday night at Mayo Civic Center.
