M. Pauline Puffer -- Lime Springs, Iowa
LIME SPRINGS, Iowa -- The funeral for M. Pauline Puffer will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Notre Dame Parish-Assumption Worship Center in Cresco, Iowa. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Lourdes, Iowa.
Mrs. Puffer, 76, of rural Lime Springs, died Wednesday (Oct.13, 2004) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.
M. Pauline Kovarik was born Dec. 28, 1927, in Howard County, Iowa, and graduated from Assumption High School in 1945. She worked at Cargill in Minneapolis and then owed Davis Corners Country Store and Grill for 49 years. On Oct. 22, 1948, she married William F. Puffer in Lourdes; they later divorced.
Survivors include four sons, William of Spring Valley, Peter of Crystal Lake, Minn., Timothy of St. Paul and Dana of Rochester; and 12 grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Conway Funeral Home in Cresco, where the rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. and there will be a Scripture service at 6:30 p.m., and an hour before the service Monday at the church.
