MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A Florida man accused of running a large-scale prostitution ring in Minnesota was sentenced Tuesday to 28 months in prison for conspiracy to commit an offense against the U.S.
Thirty-three-year-old Oscar Rogelio Hisep-Roman, of Dover, Fla., also received three years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty last year.
According to plea agreements in federal court, he and 39-year-old Marisol Ramirez, of Richfield, admitted they brought women from other states and countries to work in brothels in Minnesota between 2006 and 2007.
