MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Gov. Tim Pawlenty will be in Munich over the weekend, to attend a top-level conference on foreign and security policy.
The forum will include more than a dozen heads of state and delegations from 50 countries.
Pawlenty attended last year’s conference, and was once again invited by the leader of the U.S. delegation, Sen. John McCain of Arizona.

Pawlenty spokesman Brian McClung says Pawlenty is the only U.S. governor in the delegation.
Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., was also invited her spokesman says she’ll stay in Washington to help push the $900 billion stimulus plan through the Senate.
McClung says the federal government will cover the cost of the trip.
