Obama aide added to Klobuchar health care summit

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A top campaign policy adviser to President-elect Barack Obama has been added to the program for a summit on health care reform organized by Sen. Amy Klobuchar.
Neera Tanden served as the domestic policy adviser for the Obama campaign, and her responsibilities included health care issues. She’s now on Obama’s transition team.
Klobuchar’s summit on Tuesday, dubbed "Prescription for Reform," is meant to highlight the best opportunities for health care reform.

Other participants include Dr. Denis Cortese, the president and CEO of the Mayo Clinic; former U.S. Sen. Dave Durenberger; and Dr. Jack Wennberg of Dartmouth University Medical School.
The summit will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the University of Minnesota’s Mayo Memorial Auditorium.
