U.S. Postal Service letter carriers in Rochester will collect food Saturday for Channel One Food Shelf.
People are asked to put nonperishable food in boxes or bags next to their mailboxes before carriers come Saturday.
Last year, local letter carriers collected nearly 32,000 pounds of food. Letter carriers brought in more than 70 million pounds nationally.
