MAKEOVER - The U.S. 52 exit to 19th Street Northwest opened during the weekend, and two more ramps involved in the rebuilding of the highway through Rochester are expected to open Tuesday.

They are the southbound highway exit ramp to 16th Street Southwest and the on-ramp from 16th Street to the highway, according to Charleen Zimmer, spokeswoman for Zumbro River Constructors, the company building the project.

The southbound U.S. 52 loop to eastbound Civic Center Drive will open Wednesday. The opening was delayed from the weekend.

The ramp from southbound U.S. 52 to Salem Road also did not open as scheduled.
