WANAMINGO -- A 29-year-old Kenyon man faces burglary charges after being arrested early today for allegedly breaking into an apartment and business in Wanamingo.
The Goodhue County Sheriff's Department said a woman woke up in her apartment and saw the man there. He ran out, and she called the department at 12:46 a.m.
While deputies were searching the area, the department got a second call about a suspicious man at the Budget Mart. Deputies found the man outside that business, where he had allegedly broken the phone box. He's also suspected of kicking in a door at Garden Gate Plants and Floral and stealing some money.
The man was taken to the county jail.
