One of two men charged in connection with a stabbing has pleaded guilty.

Varajalon Natajvi Koisef Hodges, 24, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon on Friday. Under the plea agreement, a third-degree assault charge was dismissed. He also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fifth-degree assault in a separate case. He will be sentenced Jan. 12.

The felony assault charge stems from the Sept. 30 stabbing of a 19-year-old man.

A second suspect, LeDonte Ahton-I Achinom Wells, 18, remains at large. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Hodges already is in prison. Two days after being charged in connection with the stabbing, he returned to court asking to go to prison. He had been on probation on burglary and motor vehicle theft charges and asked to have the prison sentences executed. He was sentenced to 28 months prison on Oct. 24.
