Post-Bulletin staff

A Rochester man will serve more than five years in prison for selling crack cocaine in November 2007.

Lewis Heggs Jr., 24, pleaded guilty in July to one count of second-degree controlled substance crime. Under terms of the plea agreement, charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and tampering with a witness were dismissed.

Heggs returned to court Monday, and Judge Joseph Wieners sentenced him to 67 months in prison and ordered him to pay restitution of $700. Heggs will receive credit for time served in jail.
