ST. CHARLES -- The memorial Mass for Marcella Marie Harguth will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles.
Mrs. Harguth, 98, formerly of St. Charles, died Monday (Sept. 25, 2006) at the Jones-Harrison Residence in Minneapolis.
Marcella Marie Small was born Sept. 21, 1908, in St. Charles. She married Dr. John C. Harguth on Oct. 1, 1932, in St. Charles. She enjoyed gardening, golf, bowling, playing cards and cooking. Her angel food cakes will always be remembered. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Homemaker's Club and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Ralph) Braun of Edina, Minn., and Jane (Wayne) Larsen of Loveland, Colo.; a son, David (Carol) of Denver; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and three grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the St. Charles Senior Center or a charity of the donor's choice.
