Margaret Jones ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Margaret Jones will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Catawba, Wis.

Mrs. Jones, 82, of Kennan, Wis., formerly of Rochester, died Wednesday (Oct. 20, 2004) at her home following a lengthy illness.

Margaret Rossman was born March 15, 1922, in White Lake, S.D. She grew up in Rochester, attended St. John's Catholic School and graduated from high school in Rochester. From 1945 to 1946, she served in the Navy. On April 19, 1947, she married Russell Jones in Kennan. Mr. Jones died in June 2002. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting. She also made baby clothes for "Bundles of Love" in Rochester.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel of Kennan and Lee of Hartford, Wis.; three daughters, Shirley Brown of Hudson, Wis., Nancy (Joe) Marshall of Kennan and Judy Kucaba of Kennan; seven grandchildren; five sisters, Eileen (Francis) O'Brien of Kasson, Ann (William) Herman of Cottonwood, Calif., Mary Rossman of Rochester, Rita (John) Daywitt of Rochester and Patricia (Harlan) Hebig of Rochester; and two brothers, Robert (Virginia) Rossman of Rochester and William (Sylvia) Rossman of Eyota.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
