ROCHESTER — The funeral for Marion Rose Watson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Macken Funeral Home . The Rev. Doris Underdahl will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Watson, 79, of Rochester, died Wednesday (April 15, 2009) at her home, following a lengthy illness.
Marion Rose Forney was born July 2, 1929, in Simpson. In 1945 she married William H. Watson Jr.
Mr. Watson was the owner and operator of Watson Rubbish Removal. She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband for 26 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Michog and Tammy Watson, both of Rochester; four sons, James, Duane and Roger, all of Rochester, and Randy (Karyn) of Zumbro Falls; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Harold Forney of St. Paul, Lyle (Eleanor) Forney of Oronoco and Frank Forney of Dover. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988, a daughter, a son, a brother and a sister.
