ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Martin "Marty" Quandt will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at People of Hope Church, with the Rev. Gary Dreier officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Quandt, 53, of 5502 22nd Ave. N.W., Rochester, formerly of Byron and Faribault, died Wednesday (Sept. 3, 2003) in Lanesboro.
He was born March 31, 1950, in Rochester. He was an active member of People of Hope Church, worked at Trade Mart Furniture, and was active in Special Olympics, PossAbilities Senior Program and Community Education.
There are no immediate survivors.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Ranfranz &; Vine Funeral Homes and an hour before the service Saturday at the church.
