AUSTIN -- A memorial service for Mary L. Niemi will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Amery, Wis.
Mrs. Niemi, 61, of Amery, formerly of Austin, died Sunday (Oct. 3, 2004) at her home.
Mary L. Riles was born Sept. 29, 1943, in Austin. She grew up in rural Austin and graduated from Rose Creek High School in 1961. On Dec. 14, 1968, she married William Niemi. The couple lived near Chicago for a short time before moving to Amery in 1973. Mrs. Niemi worked most recently for Indianhead Home Health Care Agency in Amery as a home health aide. Before that she worked at Crestview Nursing Home, also in Amery.
Survivors include her husband; two sisters, Colleen (Dave) Bainter of Hastings, Minn., and Betty (Jack Green) Luedtke, of Rochester; three brothers, Paul (Cathy) Riles of Plymouth, Iowa, Tim (Rebecca Bauer) Riles of Weyerhauser, Wis., and Tom Riles of Lewiston.
There will be no visitation or reviewal.
