A Northwest Orient Airlines Lockheed Sky Zephyr flies from Minneapolis to Boston on March 10, 1939, to the Harvard Fatigue Laboratory to demonstrate the oxygen system that had been set up in the plane. It flew at an altitude of 15,000 to 23,000 feet, which was considered incredible at the time.
