Mayo's Rademacher 5th entering finals

MINNEAPOLIS -- Rochester Mayo's Paul Rademacher was fifth after the semifinals of the 1-meter diving competition at the Class AA state swimming and diving meet Thursday at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center.

Rademacher's score was 279.95. Shaun Kennedy of Brainerd/Pillager was first with a score of 368.20.

Rochester John Marshall's Ben Fjellanger was 10th (241.10) and Mayo's Andrew Foote was 17th (203.50).

In Class A, Beau Webber of Austin was first after the semifinals (297.80).

Finals are Saturday.
