Melanoma survivor Tim Burriss and Mark Pittelkow of the Mayo Clinic Department of Dermatology will present a fitness lecture "Summer fun without the burn, a guide to sun protection,’’ at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Rochester Athletic Club.
Burriss will tell his story of his experience of dealing with melanoma while Pittelkow will discuss factors, incidence, diagnosis and treatment as well as prevention of the disease.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
