Milton S. 'Pete' Drury -- Rochester

ROCHESTER -- No services are planned for Milton S. "Pete" Drury. The body has been donated to Mayo Clinic for cancer research. A private family graveside service will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Drury, 73, of Rochester, a retired IBM employee, died Saturday (Aug. 24, 2002) at Seasons Hospice.

Born Sept. 7, 1928, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., he attended school there and joined IBM Corp. in Poughkeepsie in January 1948. On Dec. 24, 1948, he married Barbara Carpenter, and they lived in Pleasant Valley, N.Y., until transferring to IBM Rochester in 1957. His wife is also a retired IBM employee. Mr. Drury retired in April 1990 and was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club.

Survivors include his wife; and two sons, David and Peter, both of Rochester.

Ranfranz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
