MINNEAPOLIS — Budget cuts are forcing the Minnesota Orchestra to cancel the final concert of the season at the Lake Harriet Band Shell in Minneapolis.
The concert was scheduled for Sunday, September 14th.
Minnesota Orchestra President and CEO Michael Henson apologizes for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause for audiences. Henson says the orchestra hopes to return to the band shell in future seasons.
The orchestra has performed an annual concert at Lake Harriet since September 2003.
