A 23-year-old woman who walked away from a St. Paul hospital last week has been found alive and in good condition at a hospital in Rochester, said Peter Panos, a spokesman for the St. Paul Police Department.
Marijke Kristine Logan is at a Mayo Clinic facility, but investigators are not sure how she got there or why, Panos said.
Logan was last seen in the Twin Cities around 1 p.m. May 26 at Bethesda Hospital. Her family and police launched a search shortly after that. Logan was considered a vulnerable adult because she has a brain injury and needs medications daily.
Investigators hope to talk with Logan today to find out how she ended up in Rochester.
