Condolences are appreciated

Cameron Diaz, whose father, Emilio Diaz, 58, of Seal Beach, Calif., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, has thanked her fans for their messages of support.
"My mom, sister and I are deeply appreciative of the overwhelming outpouring of love and support," her statement said. "My dad was loved by so many people and his humor and spirit will always live on in our hearts."
Emilio, a second-generation Cuban American, was suffering from the flu, which turned into pneumonia.
