GOODHUE, Minn. — The Goodhue County Soil and Water Conservation District Board will have a local work group meeting on April 23 in Goodhue.
Local work groups help identify agricultural and natural resource concerns in communities and provide information and feedback to the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
NRCS work groups meet annually to provide recommendations on local natural resource priorities.
Anyone who has an interest in caring for the natural resources in Goodhue County is invited. NRCS activities in the county will be reviewed, priorities will be discussed and options for utilizing the federal programs to address local concerns.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. at the USDA Service Center, 104 E. Third Ave., Goodhue.
