Neva G. Loutzenhiser -- Dodge Center

DODGE CENTER -- The funeral for Neva G. Loutzenhiser will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Congregational Church in Dodge Center, with the Rev. Wally Obinger officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center.

Mrs. Loutzenhiser, 91, of Dodge Center, a homemaker, died Wednesday evening (July 9, 2003) at Fairview Nursing Home in Dodge Center.

Neva G. Cartwright was born April 4, 1912, in rural Dodge Center. She married Earl Johnson on June 12, 1934, and he died Aug. 31, 1952. On Aug. 15, 1961, she married Clayton Loutzenhiser. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1991. She had lived in North Dakota, Montana and Oregon. Mrs. Loutzenhiser was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 70 years, and was a member of the Congregational Church and its ladies aid, Homemakers Club and Dodge Center Senior Citizens.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Bruce) Nord of Kasson; a stepson, John (Carolyn) Loutzenhiser of Savage, Minn.; a stepdaughter, Lora (Elwin) Smith of Chandler, Ariz.; a grandson; two stepgranddaughters; and a stepgreat-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a grandson.

Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service Saturday at the church, where there will be an Eastern Star service at 12:45 p.m.
