New season, new exhibits at Rochester Art Center

The summer season at the Rochester Art Center opens Friday with new exhibits.

In Gallery I, "Kids' Art" will feature paintings, drawings, collages, sculpture and mixed media works done by children in grades one through six who are participating in the Total Arts Day Camp. The works in the exhibit will change throughout the summer.

In Gallery II, prints from the art center's permanent collection will be featured. Prints by Alexander Calder, Jack Beal, Alex Katz, Louis Nevelson, Philip Pearlstein, Salvador Dali and George Sugarman will be included.
