Nina M. Glover -- Wabasha

WABASHA -- The funeral for Nina M. Glover will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha, with the Rev. Lanny Kuester of the United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Wabasha.

Mrs. Glover, 93, of Wabasha, formerly of International Falls, died Tuesday morning (Aug. 13, 2002) at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center.

Nina M. Blackburn was born March 16, 1909, in Twelve Mile, Ind. She married John Glover in Indiana and they made their living working in the cotton fields of Arkansas and Mississippi. They later moved to international Falls. Her husband preceded her in death, and in 1976 she moved to Wabasha to be near her daughter. She was a former member of the Assembly of God Church in International Falls and taught Sunday school.

Survivors include two daughters, Wilma Engelbretson of Wabasha and Mary Nell (Mike) Sullivan of Little Rock, Ark.; a son, Larry of Los Angeles; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call an hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.
