No. 10 Minnesota beats No. 17 Georgia Tech in volleyball playoffs

MINNEAPOLIS -- Trisha Bratford had 26 kills to lead 10th-ranked Minnesota to a 3-1 victory over No. 17 Georgia Tech in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday night.

Cassie Busse had 18 kills and 10 digs for the Golden Gophers (32-5), who won 30-28, 31-29, 26-30, 30-28.

Lynnette Moster had 24 kills and 10 digs to lead the Yellow Jackets (33-6).
