Norma L. Ludvigson -- Rochester

ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Norma L. Ludvigson will be 2 p.m. Monday at Zumbro Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Carol Solovitz officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Ludvigson, 78, of 2106 Valleyhigh Drive N.E., a homemaker and former secretary, died Thursday (April 4, 2002) at Saint Marys Hospital.

Norma L. Davies was born July 13, 1923, in Rochester, graduated from Rochester public schools in 1941 and then was a secretary for the city of Rochester. She attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, from 1942 to 1943. On Aug. 12, 1944, she married R.B. Ludvigson in Norge, Va. They lived in Montana and North Dakota, and moved to Rochester in 1995. Her husband is a certified public accountant and she assisted him in his business. Mrs. Ludvigson was a member of Zumbro Lutheran Church, was active in WELCA and choir, and enjoyed golf, playing cards and oil painting.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Ann Marie (George) Hiner of Nevada City, Calif., Karen Louise (Gerald) Romness of Champlin, Minn., and Margaret Lynn Winters of Fargo, N.D.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Harriet (Willis) Deery of Rochester; and a brother, John T. (Peg) Davies Jr. of Rochester. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and at Ranfranz Funeral Home and an hour before the service Monday at the church.
