Tournament runs through Sunday at Mayo Civic Center
The Northland Youth Wrestling Association state championships are taking place this weekend at Mayo Civic Center.
The event brings more than 2,100 wrestlers and coaches to Rochester.
Many are competing in the state team tournament, while nearly 1,000 wrestlers are competing in the individual tournament. There are 64 teams in action, all shooting for a state title.
This is the 14th year of the NYWA tournament, which is run by Corey and Annette Olson.
