ROCHESTER — The funeral Mass for Thomas M. Higgins will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Resurrection in Rochester.
Mr. Higgins, 51, of Rochester, died Tuesday (Sept. 4, 2007) at his home, of a heart attack.
Thomas Michael Higgins was born June 8, 1956, in Blooming Prairie. He married Julie Neumann on June 27, 1981. For 31 years he worked at IBM, then retired to become a bail bondsman for Midwest Bonding. Mr. Higgins loved music and played in numerous bands throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Matthew of Anoka, Minn., and Marcus of Milwaukee; two sisters, Terri (Terry Al) Lindquist and Terese Farr; and two brothers, Troy (Janice) and Tim (Laura). He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, and an hour before the service Saturday at the church.
