Recently, Brenda Lindsey’s letter to the editor told us to move past Barak Obama’s pastor’s remarks, and she compared those remarks to Catholics who go to church when some of its priests are known sexual predators.
The comparison is thin at best. Few Catholics ever knew their priest was a pedophile, and certainly its benefit never was preached from the pulpit. Barak Obama attended a church for 20 years where the pastor spewed hatred for white people and America.
We are left with only few conclusions based on that fact. He either bought into his pastor’s position or he had an ulterior motive, like not losing the support of his constituency. Either way, 20 years in a church like that is a huge concern for me and should be for everyone
