OBITUARY Ruth Schnorenberg AUSTIN -- A memorial gathering for Ruth Schnorenberg will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home in Albert Lea.

Mrs. Schnorenberg, 86, formerly of Austin, died Monday (Aug. 2, 2004) at St. John's Lutheran Home in Albert Lea.

Ruth Fritze was born Jan. 26, 1918, in Faribault, grew up in Owatonna and graduated from Owatonna High School. On Sept. 3, 1962, she married Robert Schnorenberg. She lived in Austin for many years and was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and volunteering at church.

Survivors include two brothers, Bob Fritze of Owatonna and Leonard (Nancy) Fritze of Minneapolis. Her husband, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.

Memorials are suggested to Austin Sheriff's Youth Ranch.
