CROOKSTON, Minn. -- A police officer's coffee break came at just the right time to prevent a robbery at a convenience store in Crookston.
Officer Rusty Miller entered the store just after 2 a.m. Thursday as a man came out of the restroom carrying a butcher knife. When the man saw Miller, he turned and went back into the restroom.
Miller pulled his gun on the suspect when he re-emerged from the restroom a few seconds later, and the man surrendered without a problem.
