Ohio State takes over first place

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Brian Brown had a career-high 26 points and Dials scored 10 consecutive points down the stretch as unranked and overlooked Ohio State beat No. 25 Indiana 73-67 Saturday to take over first place in the Big Ten.

Brown hit 10 of 13 shots from the field, five of six foul shots and also had six rebounds, three assists and two steals. He hit all four of his free throws in the final 24.2 seconds to hold off Indiana (11-6, 4-1).
