One injured in motorcycle crash in Lanesboro

Nawaz Mehdi Khan, 23, of Columbia Heights, Minn., was driving a 2016 Kawasaki ZX636 southbound on Highway 250 at Bluffview Avenue at 4:06 p.m. when it left the roadway and crashed into a guardrail, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

LANESBORO -- A motorcycle crash Saturday night in Lanesboro sent one man to the hospital.

Nawaz Mehdi Khan, 23, of Columbia Heights, Minn., was driving a 2016 Kawasaki ZX636 southbound on Highway 250 at Bluffview Avenue at 4:06 p.m. when it left the roadway and crashed into a guardrail, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

Khan was flown from the scene by air ambulance to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Preston Police Department, Lanesboro Fire Department and Ambulance, and Gundersen Air Ambulance responded to the scene.
