DEXTER — One victim of an Monday morning auto accident on Interstate 90 near Dexter remained in Saint Marys Hospital at Rochester this morning.
Donald A. Meyer, 23, of Austin was reported in fair condition at Saint Marys this morning, a Mayo Clinic spokeswoman said. He had been in a car that was wedged under a semi-trailer early Monday morning. The driver of that car, Sarah R. Locher, 23, also of Austin, was seen and dismissed from Saint Marys on Monday, the clinic representative said.
The state patrol reported Locher’s car was westbound, left the roadway and drove into the I-90 median. It then returned to the pavement and collided with the semi driven by Duane R. Jorgenson, 52, the patrol said. That truck also was westbound.
The accident occurred near the I-90 interchange with Minnesota Highway 16 at about 6:30 a.m., according to the report.
