Pacelli High School seniors Ashleigh Smith and Jordan Juenger were presented with the American Legion Americanism Award at a recent awards ceremony at American Legion Post 91.
The award recognizes students for their high qualities of courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship and service.
Also during the ceremony, Pacelli juniors Colin Sheehan, Stephanie Holtorf and Julia Bartemes were selected to attend the Boy’s state and Girl’s state programs in June. The week-long experience educates students on government at the local, county and state levels. Participants will organize and participate in the various levels and branches of government.
