LEROY — A memorial service for Paul D. Scott will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy, with the Rev. Neal Solomonson officiating.
Mr. Scott, 51, a longtime farmer in the LeRoy area, died Wednesday (Nov. 15, 2006) at Rochester Methodist Hospital.
Paul Dean Scott was born March 26, 1955, in Emmetsburg, Iowa. At age 3, his family moved from the Emmetsburg area to LeRoy. He graduated from LeRoy High School in 1973. He worked his whole life in and around farming. He hauled milk, milked and was a herdsman. His interests included old farm implements, visiting with neighbors, cutting wood and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Scott of LeRoy; a sister, Barb (Warren) Barrett of Bella Vista, Ark.; and a brother, Bob (Lynda) of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy.
