Paul L. Schuth -- Wabasha

WABASHA -- The funeral Mass for Paul L. Schuth will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Felix Catholic Church in Wabasha, with the Revs. William Kulas and Paul Evers officiating. Interment will be in St. Felix Cemetery.

Mr. Schuth, 60, of Wabasha, died Wednesday (July 6, 2005) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester, following a three-month illness.

Born Dec. 8, 1944, in Wabasha, he graduated from St. Felix High School in Wabasha. He married Carol Franke on Oct. 23, 1965, at St. Felix Catholic Church. He was the owner of Schuth Insurance and Realty in Wabasha, and also owned Paul's Gun Shop, where he bought, sold and repaired guns. He was a member of St. Felix Catholic Church and the St. Joseph's Society of the Catholic Aid Association, and enjoyed hunting, traveling and reading.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, James and Brian (Stacy), both of Rochester; a sister, Sister Katarina Schuth of St. Paul; and four brothers, John (Tina), Robert "Grant" (Diane) and Mike, all of Wabasha, and Matt (Sue) of Golden Valley, Minn. His parents and a brother preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha, and for an hour before the service Monday at the church.
