Gov. Tim Pawlenty once joked that he considered buying a condo in Rochester, he spent so much time in the area.
A year after winning a second term as governor with the help of a sizable number of Rochester voters, the GOP governor continues to make regular visits to the city.
All told, Pawlenty has made eight visits to Rochester in the last year. Here’s a quick review of those events.
Jan. 23 — Rochester news conference.

June 6 — Addresses Rochester Chamber of Commerce Eggs and Issues.
July 15 — Participates in departure ceremony for National Guard B Company.
Aug. 28 — Meets with Olmsted County officials; meets with Rochester media.
Nov. 11 — Gives speech at Rochester Veterans Day program at New Life Worship Center.
Nov. 19 — Has lunch with Rochester leaders at Michael’s restaurant; addresses group at new University of Minnesota — Rochester campus; visits Hylas Inc.
Dec. 11 — Participates in groundbreaking ceremony for Minnesota Biobusiness Center.
