Peggy Ann Pesch — Waltham

WALTHAM — The funeral for Peggy Ann Pesch will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Waltham, with the Rev. Jeffrey Kuddes officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Peggy Ann Pesch, 72, died Tuesday (Nov. 25, 2008) at Rochester Methodist Hospital.

She was born Peggy Ann Persinger on Feb. 20, 1936, in Sac City, Iowa. She graduated from Austin High School. She worked as a clerk for the postal system in Dexter, Brownsdale, Sargeant and Waltham. On Aug. 2, 1959, she married Norman Pesch at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling with friends, casinos and watching her grandchildren’s activities, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid and Birthday Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Jodi (Kelly) Fitzgerald of Sargeant, and Amy (Ray) Jacobson of Stewartville; two sons, Craig (Debra) of Hayfield, and David (Candace) of Albert Lea; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lynn (Carol) Persinger of Austin, and Gary (Maggie) Persinger of Lakewood, Colo.; and two sisters, Shirley (Delmar) Harvey of Ocala, Fla., and Mary (David) Hoeft of Rochester.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004; her parents, Lynn and Elma (Howard) Persinger; two sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield, and an hour before the service Monday at the church near Waltham.

The family prefers memorials to the Multiple Myeloma Society.
