Phyllis A. Gloyne — Goodview

WINONA — A celebration of life service for Phyllis A. Gloyne will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service-Hansen Chapel in Goodview, with funeral celebrant Douglas Hansen officiating. Interment will be at a later date.

Mrs. Gloyne, 78, of Goodview, formerly of Millville, died Wednesday (April 11, 2007) at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wis.

Phyllis Nesler was born June 30, 1928, in Rochester. She married Paul Gloyne on Nov. 14, 1949, in Cut Bank, Mont. They farmed in the Millville area for 45 years. She also worked in the produce department for grocery stores in Rochester. Her husband preceded her in death in 1994, and she moved to Goodview in 1999. She enjoyed flowers, baking, collecting rocks and playing cards.

Survivors include a daughter, Pauline (Dennis) Meyer of Winona; a son, Sidney (Carlene) of Boswell, Okla.; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley (Stan) Bowman of Winona and Dorothy Radke of Plainview. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call an hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.
