PIGSKIN PREVIEW Continued from Page 24 -- LANESBORO

The Burros ground attack centered around Ben Kimball last season and the junior back is once again the focus of the offense.

Kimball gained over 700 yards on the ground last season and was named all-conferene honorable mention. His combination of speed and strength make him a tough load for a defense to bring down. Tom Moen will join Kimball in the offensive backfield.

"Tom did a lot of work in the off-season and he'll make an impact in our running attack," coach James Semmen said.

Brad Dybing takes over as the starting quarterback. After injuries beset the Burros late last season, Dybing started the final two games of his junior campaign.

HOUSTON

It took a few seasons for Houston to break a long losing skid and get into the win column, but the Hurricanes improved last year with five victories.

However, after three seasons and a dramatic improvement last year, former coach Shane Strong has moved on.

New coach Ben House takes over a team loaded with senior talent. There is plenty of reason for optimism.

First off, the returning linemen are all of good size and that will open the holes for the offensive attack. They will also anchor a stingy defense.

Wide receiver Trevor Carrier highlighted an explosive offense last season and many of those weapons are back. The Hurricanes are considered the front-runner for the SEC crown.
