Fans of the Green Bay Packers will have to scramble five times this year when their favorite team won't be televised on local television.
Those games include the Sept. 8 opener against Atlanta, Oct. 13 at noon at New England, Nov. 10, noon at home against Detroit, Nov. 24 at noon at Tampa Bay and a week later, Dec. 1, noon at home against the Chicago Bears.
On those games the Vikings and Packers play at the same time, and Fox has the rights to those games. Fox 47 makes the Vikings its priority.
The other 11 Packer games will be televised locally, either on Fox, CBS, ABC's Monday Night Football or ESPN Sunday Night Football.
All 16 Minnesota Vikings games will air here. The Vikings have two national telecasts, both on ESPN. They are Sept. 29 at Seattle and Dec. 8 at Green Bay. Both will start at 7:30.
