Austin police found a stun gun on a 22-year-old man Monday while arresting him for two Mower County warrants.
Dylan Mitchell Andersen of Blooming Prairie allegedly had a Taser gun, which is an electric-incapacitation device, inside his jacket when he was arrested about 2 p.m. in the 600 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast. He also allegedly had illegal substances, including a small amount of methamphetamine.
Andersen appeared Wednesday in Mower District Court on two counts of felony fifth-degree drug crime, records show. His conditional bail was set at $5,000.
According to the criminal complaint, Andersen also possessed pills of the controlled substance Lorazepam, often used to treat anxiety. The pills were in a prescription bottle with the label removed.
Andersen returns to court Nov. 30.
