FARIBAULT -- A man in this southeastern Minnesota town shot and wounded his estranged wife, then apparently turned the gun on himself, police said.
Faribault police were called to a domestic dispute Thursday evening and heard gunshots when they arrived at the house.
Police Chief Mike Lewis said a woman came out and told police she had been shot, and the man inside the house had shot himself.
Officers went inside and found the woman's 61-year-old husband dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Lewis said the 46-year-old woman and her husband were separated, and she had gone back to the house to pick up some belongings.
The woman is expected to recover.
The couple's names were not released.
