Rochester police found the dog that bit a 6-year-old child, but are now looking for another dog that bit a man.
Capt. Brian Winters said the man was bitten about 3 p.m. Saturday, near the intersection of 14th Street and Second Avenue Northeast. Winters said a large white dog bit the man's leg, and was then scared away by someone nearby.
Winters asked that anyone who witnessed the incident or knows the dog, which is believed to be a pit bull, should call animal control at 287-2330. Finding the dog might mean the man could discontinue rabies shots.
